I’m currently in a hostel called Onefam Waterloo in London. It’s a nice place with a friendly and social atmosphere.
I woke up around 6 AM this morning. My watch said that I had a Body Battery of 100, training preparedness of 100, and I had slept calmly. So, a good morning, I would say. To start the day, I went for The Corner Café, one of the nearest breakfast place (that was also rated at 4.6 on the Google Maps). It proved to be worth the rating although it was a bit expensive for me.
I have taken my Duolingo and AnkiPro lessons this morning, too. I had a streak of 253 days in Duolingo before the retreat, but it was undone during the period of silence and meditation. I don’t mind a lot, but of course it would have been easier to get to a one-year streak without the break at this point. Now running at 2 days and counting.
I have noticed that Duolingo has had some kind of an update. It now tends to show also the Super Duolingo ad after the first ad. I don’t like that – to the point of thinking of buying the Super Duolingo… 😀 I guess that’s their strategy indeed. Well, I must see, maybe I’ll buy the Family Plan and give it to my friend Elly as a present, so I can get a bit more out of the subscription.
I’ve had two cups of coffee so far, so the day is starting with good amount of caffeine as well. I feel very good and happy at this point of the trip: it’s nice to go back home after this good night’s sleep in London. Maybe I will still buy “Mind the gap” product from a souvenir store.
I will be posting thoughts on the retreat later today or tomorrow. Many texts were created there, and still many will be created afterwards, I think. I wish you, my readers, a great week!
